The representative of the Secretariat outlined the documentation on the subitem and recalled that, in its decision SC1/16, the Conference of the Parties had requested the Secretariat to develop terms of reference for regional and subregional centres and criteria for evaluating the performance of such centres in accordance with guidelines provided in the decision.
