The first session of the Conference of the Parties must be held not later than one year after the date of entry into force of the Convention.

Each Party shall take all appropriate steps to ensure that the Agreement referred to in paragraph 1 is in force for it not later than eighteen months after the date of entry into force for that Party of this Treaty.

The Committee shall have competence solely in respect of violations by the State party of any of the rights set forth in the Convention and/or the first two Optional Protocols thereto occurring after the entry into force of the present Protocol.
1- لا يكون للجنة اختصاص إلا فيما يتعلق بالانتهاكات التي ترتكبها الدولة الطرف لأي حق من الحقوق المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية و/أو في بروتوكوليها الاختياريين الأولين والتي تكون قد وقعت بعد تاريخ بدء نفاذ هذا البروتوكول.

If a State becomes a party to the present Protocol after its entry into force, the obligations of that State vis-a-vis the Committee shall relate only to violations of the rights set forth in the Convention and/or the first two Optional Protocols thereto occurring after the entry into force of the present Protocol for the State concerned.
2- إذا أصبحت دولـة ما طرفاً في هـذا البروتوكول بعد تاريخ بدء نفاذه، لا تتصل التزامات تلك الدولة إزاء اللجنة إلا بانتهاكات الحقوق المنصوص عليها في الاتفاقية و/أو في بروتوكوليها الاختياريين الأولين التي تكون قد وقعت بعد تاريخ بدء نفاذ هذا البروتوكول بالنسبة للدولة المعنية.

Temporal jurisdiction 1. The Court has jurisdiction only in respect of crimes committed after the date of entry into force of this Statute.

2. Such use shall be reassessed no later than two years after the date of entry into force of the present Protocol.

2 sept. Commencing one year after the date of entry into force of this paragraph, each Party shall ban the export of any controlled substances in Annex F to any State not party to this Protocol.

1. Beginning four years after the date of entry into force of this Convention, and periodically thereafter at intervals to be decided by the Conference of the Parties, the Conference shall evaluate the effectiveness of this Convention.

Article 13, paragraph 6, of the Kyoto Protocol provides that the first session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties (COP/MOP 1) shall be convened by the secretariat in conjunction with the first session of the Conference of the Parties (COP) that is scheduled after the date of entry into force of the Protocol.

Background: In accordance with Article 13, paragraph 6, of the Protocol, the first session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 1) shall be convened by the secretariat in conjunction with the first session of the COP that is scheduled after the date of entry into force of the Protocol.
