The draft resolution requests the General Assembly to consider establishing at its sixty-sixth session an effective international mechanism in order to investigate the causes and background of wars that have broken out since the founding of the United Nations and ensure that their perpetrators do not go unpunished.
ويطلب المشروع من الجمعية العامة النظر في تحديد آلية دولية فعالة خلال انعقاد دورتها السادسة والستين، تكفل تقصي أسباب وظروف الحروب التي وقعت بعد قيام الأمم المتحدة وعدم إفلات المتسببين فيها من العقاب.

There should be no hypocrisy or diplomacy because it concerns the important and vital issue of the future of the world. It was hypocrisy that brought about the 65 wars since the establishment of the United Nations.
وفي هذه القضية المصيرية للبشرية لا مجاملة ولا نفاق ولا دبلوماسية في هذه القضية المصيرية للبشرية، لأن التهاون والنفاق والخوف أدى إلى وقوع 65 حربا بعد قيام الأمم المتحدة.

However, numerous countries and peoples have endured foreign invasion since the establishment of the United Nations. Millions have suffered the use of force, genocide, arrest and execution. Those acts were never the subject of an international investigation in accordance with accepted standards.

Noting that, since the establishment of the United Nations, numerous sovereign States have endured foreign invasion, leading millions to suffer the use of force, genocide, imprisonment and execution, none of which has been the subject of an international investigation in accordance with accepted standards,
وإذ تلاحظ أنه بعد قيام الأمم المتحدة تعرضت كثير من الدول ذات السيادة إلى غزو خارجي أدى إلى وقع الملايين من البشر ضحايا استخدام القوة والإبادة الجماعية والاعتقالات والإعدامات التي لم يتم فيها تحقيق دولي وفقا للمعايير المتفق عليها دوليا،

since the establishment of the United Nations, several national liberation and political leaders and figures, international figures and human rights advocates were systematically and deliberately assassinated because of their political positions and views.
وقعت بعد قيام الأمم المتحدة عدة عمليات اغتيال منظمة ومتعمدة استهدفت العديد من زعماء التحرر الوطني، وشخصيات سياسية وطنية، وشخصيات دولية، ودعاة حقوق إنسان، بسبب مواقفهم وآرائهم السياسية.

I have the honour to request, in accordance with rule 14 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly, the inclusion in the agenda of the sixty-fifth session of the General Assembly of a supplementary item entitled " Investigation into the wars that have broken out since the establishment of the United Nations " .
عملا بالمادة 14 من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة، أتشرف بطلب إدراج بند تكميلي في جدول أعمال الدورة الخامسة والستين للجمعية العامة بعنوان " التحقيق في الحروب التي وقعت بعد قيام الأمم المتحدة " .

3. Considers that the failure to prevent or investigate wars that have broken out since the establishment of the United Nations, such as the wars in Afghanistan, Korea, Somalia, Suez, Viet Nam, the former Yugoslavia, as well as the war in Iraq in its various aspects and the invasions of Grenada and Panama, is inconsistent with the responsibilities of the United Nations and posed a serious threat to international peace and security;
3 - تعتبر أن عدم ردع الحروب التي وقعت بعد قيام الأمم المتحدة والتحقيق فيها، ومن ذلك حروب كوريا والسويس وفييت نام والصومال ويوغوسلافيا السابقة وأفغانستان وحرب العراق بأبعادها المختلفة وغزو غرينادا وبنما، يتعارض مع مسؤوليات الأمم المتحدة، ويهدد جديا السلم والأمن العالمي؛

Bearing in mind that, since the founding of the United Nations more than half a century ago, millions of children, women and men have been victims of atrocities committed by use of force, crimes of genocide, illegal intervention and more than 60 wars on different continents, including the wars in Grenada, Korea, Panama, Somalia, Suez, Viet Nam and the former Yugoslavia, as well as the war in Iraq in its various aspects and the war in Afghanistan,
وإذ تضع في اعتبارها أنه بعد قيام الأمم المتحدة وقع الملايين ضحايا لفظائع استخدام قوة وإبادة جماعية واعتقالات وإعدامات وتدخُّل غير مشروع في شؤون الدول الأخرى وأكثر من (60) حربا في مختلف قارات العالم، منها حروب كوريا والسويس وبنما وفييت نام وغرينادا والصومال ويوغوسلافيا السابقة وحرب العراق بأبعادها المختلفة وحرب أفغانستان،
