7. The Committee recommends that the State party take appropriate measures to ensure that the National Council for Children and Adolescents carry out its functions effectively, in particular by holding regular meetings with the various agencies and bodies working on issues related to the Optional Protocol, including the Ministry of Defence.
7- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بأن تتخذ التدابير المناسبة كي يتمكن المجلس الوطني لشؤون الأطفال والمراهقين من أداء مهامه بفاعلية، خاصة بعقد اجتماعات منتظمة مع مختلِف الوكالات والهيئات التي تتناول المسائل المتعلقة بالبروتوكول الاختياري، بما فيها وزارة الدفاع.

(a) The provisions of Security Council resolution 1298 (2000) have been brought to the attention of the relevant authorities and institutions of the Slovak Republic, including the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Economy, which will observe them while the resolution remains in force.
(أ) تم إطلاع السلطات والمؤسسات المعنية في جمهورية سلوفاكيا على أحكام قرار مجلس الأمن 1298 (2000)، بما فيها وزارة الدفاع ووزارة الشؤون الاقتصادية، التي ستقوم بالامتثال لهذه الأحكام طالما ظل القرار نافذا.

2. I noted in that report that I had consulted a total of 81 maps, 25 of them issued by the Governments of Lebanon and the Syrian Arab Republic, and that I had in my possession 10 maps issued after 1966 by various Lebanese Government institutions, including the Ministry of Defence and the army, all of which placed the farmlands in question inside Syrian territory, except one Lebanese map of 1966 of questionable authenticity.
2 - وأشرت في ذلك التقرير إلى أنني اطلعت على ما مجموعه 81 خريطة، منها 25 خريطة صادرة عن حكومتي لبنان والجمهورية العربية السورية، وأنه كان بحوزتي 10 خرائط أُصدِرت بعد عام 1966 من قبل مختلف المؤسسات الحكومية اللبنانية، بما فيها وزارة الدفاع والجيش، وكلها تجعل موقع المزارع قيد المناقشة داخل الأراضي السورية، باستثناء خريطة لبنانية واحدة مشكوك في صحتها صادرة في عام 1996.
