In paragraph 7 of its resolution 53/18 of 2 November 1998, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General, in order to reduce the cost of employing General Service staff, to continue efforts to employ locally recruited staff for the Mission against General Service posts, commensurate with the requirements of the Mission.
٢٠- وفي الفقرة ٧ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٣/١٨ المؤرخ ٢ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٨، طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام، بغية خفض تكلفة استخدام موظفي فئة الخدمات العامة، أن يواصل بذل الجهود لملء وظائف فئة الخدمات العامة في البعثة بموظفين معينين محليا، وذلك بما يتناسب مع احتياجات البعثة.

In paragraph 5 of its resolution 52/249 of 26 June 1998, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General, in order to reduce the cost of employing General Service staff, to employ locally recruited staff for the Mission against General Service posts, commensurate with the requirements of the Mission.
٢٢ - ولخفض تكلفة استخدام موظفي الخدمات العامة طلبت الجمعية العامة من اﻷمين العام في الفقرة ٥ من قرارها ٥٢/٢٤٩ المؤرخ ٢٣ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٨، أن يستخدم موظفين معينين محليا للبعثة في وظائف من فئة الخدمات العامة بما يتناسب مع احتياجات البعثة.

٩١ - وفي الفقرة ٥ من قرار الجمعية العامة ٣٥/٩٢ المؤرخ ٠٢ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ٨٩٩١، طلبت الجمعية إلى اﻷمين العام، بغية خفض تكاليف تعيين موظفي فئة الخدمات العامة، أن يواصل بذل الجهود لملء وظائف الخدمات العامة في بعثة المراقبين بموظفين معينين محليا، وذلك بما يتناسب مع احتياجات البعثة.

Mr. Ahounou (Côte d’Ivoire), introducing draft resolution A/C.5/52/L.50, which had been submitted by the Chairman, said that, in paragraph 8, the words “commensurate with the operational and substantive requirements of the United Nations Civilian Police Mission in Haiti” should be revised to read “commensurate with the requirements of the Mission”.

٢٠ - وقد طلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام، في الفقرة ٩ من قرارها ٥٢/٢٣٨ المؤرخ ٢٦ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٨، أن يواصل، من أجل خفض تكلفة توظيف موظفي فئة الخدمات العامة، ما يبذله من جهود للاستعانة بموظفين معينين محليا ببعثة المراقبة على وظائف من فئة الخدمات العامة، بما يتناسب مع احتياجات البعثة.
