In view of the procedures required for financing the Mission and the concerns which her delegation had expressed when the Committee had begun its consideration of the topic, she reaffirmed her delegation’s position that activities and programmes established under the mandate of the United Nations should be funded by Member States in conformity with article 17 of the Charter of the United Nations.

The Commission agreed that the provision should read as follows: " A summary of the criteria and procedures to be used for ascertaining the qualifications of suppliers or contractors, and of any documentary evidence or other information that must be submitted by suppliers or contractors to demonstrate their qualifications, in conformity with article 9 of this Law. "
106- واتَّفقت اللجنةُ على أن يكون نصُّ أحكام هذه الفقرة كالتالي: " ملخصاً للمعايير والإجراءات التي ستُستخدَم للتأكّد من مؤهّلات المورِّدين أو المقاولين، ولأيِّ أدلة مستندية أو معلومات أخرى يجب على المورِّدين أو المقاولين أن يقدِّموها لإثبات مؤهّلاتهم، بما يتوافق مع المادة 9 من هذا القانون. "
