Israel continues its unlawful Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, in particular in East Jerusalem, in total disregard for the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice and the resolutions of the United Nations.

They welcomed the establishment of the " United Nations Register of Damage caused by the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory " and called for its expeditious operation and the speedy fulfilment of its mandate.

In accordance with the provisions of General Assembly resolution ES-10/17, I have continued efforts to establish the United Nations Register of Damage Caused by the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

The Committee notes the steps taken by the Board and its secretariat to commence the mandated work on the United Nations Register of Damage Caused by the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory and requests all involved to expedite their efforts to render the Register operational.

In June of 2002, Israel began its second major enterprise linked with this colonial campaign, namely the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem.

36. Israel was also ignoring the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice of 9 July 2004 and General Assembly resolution ES-10/13 of 21 October 2003, which demanded that Israel stop and reverse the Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

52. In its advisory opinion ICJ held that Israel was under an obligation to make reparation for all damage caused by the Construction of the Wall in the occupied Palestinian territory, including in and around East Jerusalem (para. 153).

Further in this connection, the Ministers reiterated their condemnation of Israel's continuing Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem, in flagrant defiance of international law, the Advisory Opinion of the International Court of Justice of 9 July 2004 and General Assembly resolution ES-10/15 of 20 July 2004.

(a) To ensure that they are not taking actions that assist the expansion of settlements or Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem;

Such ongoing Israeli policies and practices, including the continued perpetration of extrajudicial killings against Palestinian civilians and the continued Construction of the Wall in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem, constitute serious violations and grave breaches of international law, including the Fourth Geneva Convention.
