Upon instructions from my Government, I wish to express our deep concern about the recent escalation of illegal and provocative activities by the Turkish air force within the Nicosia flight information region (FIR).
بناء على تعليمات من حكومة بلدي، أود أن أعرب عن قلقنا العميق إزاء التصعيد الأخير للأنشطة غير القانونية والاستفزازية التي اضطلع بها سلاح الطيران التركي في منطقة استعلامات الطيران بنيقوسيا.

In particular, the Turkish air force has significantly escalated its interference with civilian and military aircraft flying through Cyprus's national airspace and the Nicosia FIR.
وعلى وجه الخصوص، فقد صعّد سلاح الطيران التركي إلى حد كبير تدخله في سير الطائرات المدنية والعسكرية التي تحلق عبر المجال الجوي الوطني لقبرص ومنطقة استعلامات الطيران بنيقوسيا.

In the light of the above, Turkey should be called upon to respect international legality, cease all violations and refrain from the harassment of aircraft within the Nicosia FIR.
وفي ضوء ما تقدم، ينبغي دعوة تركيا إلى احترام الشرعية الدولية ووقف جميع الانتهاكات والامتناع عن مضايقة الطائرات داخل منطقة استعلامات الطيران بنيقوسيا.

On 27 August 2003, six (6) F-16 Turkish military aircraft, coming from the FIR of Ankara in one formation, entered the Nicosia FIR, violating international air traffic regulations, before exiting in a westerly direction.
وفي 27 آب/أغسطس 2003، دخلت 6 طائرات عسكرية تركية منطقة معلومات الطيران بنيقوسيا قادمة من منطقة معلومات الطيران بأنقرة، في انتهاك للقواعد التنظيمية الدولية للملاحة الجوية، ثم غادرتها متجهة غربا.

Such unauthorized intrusions into the Nicosia flight information region and the airspace of the Republic are in violation of international air traffic rules and seriously endanger civil aviation flights over Cyprus.

12. UNFICYP continued to carry out regular inspections of the underground facilities and park at Roccas Bastion in Nicosia.
١٢ - وواصلت قوة اﻷمم المتحدة القيام بعمليات تفتيش منتظمة للمرافق الموجودة تحت سطح اﻷرض والمنتزه الموجود في قلعة روكاس بنيقوسيا.

On 18 July, one (1) CN-235 Turkish military aircraft entered the Nicosia FIR, violating international air traffic regulations and the national airspace of the Republic of Cyprus, flying over the area of Mesaoria, before landing at the illegal airport of Lefkoniko in the occupied area of the Republic.
وفي 18 تموز/يوليه دخلت طائرة عسكرية تركية واحدة من طراز CN-235 منطقة معلومات الطيران بنيقوسيا منتهكة بذلك أنظمة الحركة الجوية الدولية والمجال الجوي الوطني لجمهورية قبرص وحلقت فوق منطقة ميساوريا قبل أن تهبط في مطار ليفكونيكو غير الشرعي الواقع في المنطقة المحتلة من الجمهورية.

On 5 March 2003, one (1) Turkish military aircraft of unknown type entered the Nicosia FIR, violating the international air traffic regulations and the national airspace of the Republic of Cyprus, flying over the area of Mesaoria, before landing at the illegal airport of Lefkoniko.
وفي 5 آذار/مارس 2003، دخلت منطقة معلومات الطيران بنيقوسيا طائرة عسكرية تركية واحدة غير معروفة الطراز، في انتهاك للقواعد الدولية لحركة الملاحة الجوية والمجال الجوي الوطني لجمهورية قبرص، حيث حلقت فوق منطقة ميساوريا، قبل أن تهبط بمطار ليفكونيكو غير الشرعي.

On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Cyprus, I strongly protest all the above-mentioned violations of the Nicosia FIR and the national airspace of the Republic of Cyprus, which violate international law as well as Security Council resolutions on Cyprus, and call for their immediate cessation.
وباسم حكومة جمهورية قبرص أحتج بشدة على جميع الانتهاكات المذكورة أعلاه لمنطقة معلومات الطيران بنيقوسيا والمجال الجوي الوطني لجمهورية قبرص، باعتبارها انتهاكات للقانون الدولي ولقرارات مجلس الأمن المتعلقة بقبرص، وأدعو إلى وقفها فورا.
