Contamination means the presence of a radioactive substance on a surface in quantities in excess of 0.4 Bq/cm2 for beta and gamma emitters and low toxicity alpha emitters, or 0.04 Bq/cm2 for all other alpha emitters.
يعني " التلوث " وجود مادة مشعة على سطح بكميات تتجاوز ٤,٠ بكريل/سم٢ بالنسبة لبواعث بيتا وغاما وبواعث ألفا المنخفضة السمية، أو ٤٠,٠ بكريل/سم٢ بالنسبة لجميع بواعث ألفا اﻷخرى.

(b) 0.4 Bq/cm2 for all other alpha emitters.

(iii) the non-fixed contamination plus the fixed contamination on the inaccessible surface averaged over 300 cm2 (or the area of the surface if less than 300 cm2) does not exceed 8 × 105 Bq/cm2 for beta and gamma emitters and low toxicity alpha emitters, or 8 × 104 Bq/cm2 for all other alpha emitters.
`٣` لا يتجاوز التلوث غير الثابت زائد التلوث الثابت على السطح غير المتيسر، الذي يزيــد متوسط مساحته على ٠٠٣ سم٢ )أو مساحة السطح كله إذا كانت أقل من ٠٠٣ سم٢( ٨×٠١٥ بكريل/سم٢ بالنسبة لبواعث بيتا وغاما وبواعث ألفا المنخفضة السمية( أو ٨×٠١٤ بكريل/سم٢ بالنسبة لجميع بواعث ألفا اﻷخرى.

“5.1.3.2 Tanks and intermediate bulk containers used for the transport of radioactive material shall not be used for the storage or transport of other goods unless decontaminated below the level of 0.4 Bq/cm2 for beta and gamma emitters and low toxicity alpha emitters and 0.04 Bq/cm2 for all other alpha emitters.”
