Pursuant to the Berlin Mandate adopted by decision 1/CP.1 of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention at its first session,
وعملاً بولاية برلين التي اعتُمدت بالمقرر ١/م أ-١ الذي اتخذه مؤتمر اﻷطراف في الاتفاقية في دورته اﻷولى،

Upon the proposal of the President, the Conference expressed its appreciation to Mr. EstradaOyuela for his diligence and determination as the Chair of the SBI, and for his service to the Convention over the years as Chair of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee, Chair of the Ad Hoc Group on the Berlin Mandate and Chair of the Committee of the Whole.
70- وبناء على اقتراح الرئيس، أعرب المؤتمر عن تقديره للسيد استرادا - أويلا لمثابرته وتصميمه بوصفه رئيس الهيئة الفرعية للتنفيذ ولقيامه بخدمة الاتفاقية على مر السنين بوصفه رئيس لجنة التفاوض الحكومية الدولية ورئيس الفريق المخصص المعني بولاية برلين ورئيس اللجنة الجامعة.

To refer sub-item 5 (b) on the Berlin Mandate process to the Ad Hoc Group on the Berlin Mandate (AGBM), requesting it to submit draft conclusions on the Group's future work, including the calendar and organization of the negotiating process up to the third session of the Conference of the Parties;
