With regard to the implementation of the Committee's recommendation (CRC/C/15/Add.11, para. 12) concerning the need to develop a data collection system on children's rights, and taking into consideration the measures taken by the State party in this area, the Committee remains concerned about the lack of national disaggregated data on all the areas covered by the Convention.

The Committee is particularly concerned that disaggregated data and analytic information in important areas of the Convention are not available such as on children with disabilities, refugee and internally displaced children, child abuse and neglect, children who are victims of sexual exploitation, including prostitution, pornography and trafficking, substance abuse and children working and/or living in streets.

Whilst the Committee notes that refugee children have the same entitlements as nationals to all rights enshrined in the CRA, and appreciates information that some refugee children are provided with educational scholarships and that schools have been renovated to facilitate integration of refugee children, the Committee is concerned about the lack of disaggregated data on refugee and asylum-seeking children in this respect.

13. Please provide disaggregated data (including by sex, age group and country of origin) covering the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 on the number of asylum-seeking and refugee children coming to the State party from areas where children may have been recruited or used in hostilities.
