The text of the Agreement, which is attached to the draft resolution, by and large follows the lines drawn in the Agreement concerning the Relationship between the United Nations and the International Seabed Authority.

13. It is recalled that the relationship agreement between the United Nations and the International Seabed Authority was signed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Secretary-General of the International Seabed Authority on 14 March 1997 in New York.

264. On 14 March 1997, the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the Secretary-General of the International Seabed Authority signed a Relationship Agreement, the Agreement concerning the Relationship between the United Nations and the Authority.
