In the context of coordinating the work among the principal organs, I would like to make reference to the monthly meetings that take place between the President of the General Assembly and the rotating Presidency of the Security Council, and about which I have kept the membership informed on a regular basis.

Yet, it suggests that there is sufficient ground to explore better interaction and more meaningful inclusiveness, for example, through meetings between the President of the General Assembly and civil society at the beginning of his or her term or at other key moments, and between the chairs of the Main Committees of the Assembly and civil society.
