In addition, because security rights have no value to secured creditors unless they are enforceable in the grantor's insolvency proceedings, it is important that these outcomes are respected by the insolvency law of a State to the maximum extent possible (see chapter XIV on the impact of insolvency on a security right, paras. 13 and 59-63).
