She welcomed the decision of the Working Group to focus its tenth session on the International Year for People of African Descent and reiterated the pivotal role of the Working Group in achieving the objectives of the Year.
ورحبت بقرار الفريق العامل تركيز دورته العاشرة على السنة الدولية للمنحدرين من أصل أفريقي وكررت التأكيد على الدور الحيوي للفريق العامل في تحقيق أهداف السنة الدولية.

12B.2 Having noted the success achieved in attaining the objectives of the International Year of Shelter, which it proclaimed in 1987, the General Assembly decided to sustain the momentum generated by adopting, in its resolution 43/181 of 20 December 1988, a Global Strategy for Shelter to the Year 2000, thereby evolving a framework of cooperation and programmes for national and international action.
١٢ باء - ٢ بعد أن لاحظت الجمعية العامة النجاح المحرز في تحقيق أهداف السنة الدولية للمأوى التي أعلنتها في ١٩٨٧، قررت استمرار ما ولدته من زخم باعتماد الاستراتيجية العالمية للمأوى حتى عام ٢٠٠٠ في قرارها ٤٣/١٨١ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٨٨ فنشأ بذلك اطار للتعاون والبرامج للعمل الوطني والدولي.

2. Commends the important contribution made by all Member States at all levels to realize the objectives of the International Year of the Family, and in this regard welcomes the efforts of Member States to pursue these objectives, including those of the Government of Qatar, which has established an International Institute for Family Studies and Development;
2 - تثني على الإسهام المهم للدول الأعضاء كافة، على جميع المستويات، في تحقيق أهداف السنة الدولية للأسرة، وترحب في هذا الصدد بالجهود التي تبذلها الدول الأعضاء من أجل تحقيق هذه الأهداف، بما فيها جهود حكومة قطر التي أسست معهدا دوليا للدراسات الأسرية والتنمية؛

2. Commends the important contribution made by all Member States at all levels to realize the objectives of the International Year of the Family, and in this regard welcomes the efforts by Member States to pursue these objectives, including those of the Government of Qatar, which has established an International Institute for Family Studies and Development;

3 - تشجع الحكومات على مواصلة بذل قصارى جهودها في سبيل تحقيق أهداف السنة الدولية للأسرةوعمليات متابعتها، وعلى وضع استراتيجيات وبرامج ترمي إلى تعزيز القدرات الوطنية فيما يتعلق بمعالجة الأولويات الوطنية المتصلة بمسائل الأسرة؛

2. Encourages Governments to continue to make every possible effort to realize the objectives of the International Year of the Family and its follow-up processes and to develop strategies and programmes aimed at strengthening national capacities to address national priorities relating to family issues;
