The international community has stated clearly that the concept of military occupation applies to the Palestinian territories, and therefore, Israel is subject to the provisions and rules of the international humanitarian law that regulate the situation of occupation.
وقد بيَّن المجتمع الدولي بوضوح أن مفهوم الاحتلال العسكري ينطبق على الأراضي الفلسطينية ولذلك تخضع إسرائيل لأحكام وقواعد القانون الإنساني الدولي التي تنظم أوضاع الاحتلال(3).
