Recalling its work programme as set forth in table I, " Technical activities " , in the appendix to decision VI/37,
إذ يشير إلى برنامج عمله على النحو المبين في الجدول الأول " الأنشطة التقنية " ، في تذييل المقرر 6/37،

1. Calls upon the Parties to nominate candidates meeting the requirements of paragraph 5 of the appendix to decision VI/12 for membership of the Committee;

Calls upon Parties to conduct regional consultations with a view to nominating candidates meeting the requirements of paragraph 5 of the appendix to decision VI/12 for membership of the Committee;
1 - يدعو الأطراف إلى إجراء مشاورات إقليمية بهدف تسمية مرشحين بوسعهم تلبية المتطلبات الواردة في الفقرة 5 من تذييل المقرر 6/12 لعضوية اللجنة؛

Invites Parties, in the interest of continuity, to nominate candidates that are likely to be able to serve their complete terms of office pursuant to paragraph 6 of the appendix to decision VI/12.

By its decision 24/1, the Governing Council requested the Executive Director to promote coordination across the United Nations system on environmental activities, in particular those relevant to the operations of the United Nations system, keeping in mind paragraphs 36 and 37 of the appendix to decision SS.VII/1, through the work of the Environment Management Group.

Paragraph 8 of the terms of reference contained in the appendix to decision VI/12 provides that the Committee shall meet at least once between each regular meeting of the Conference of the Parties and in conjunction with meetings of other Convention bodies.

Requests the Secretariat to distribute to the Parties, in accordance with Rule 10 of the Rules of Procedure, a list of all project proposals that meet all group 1 relevant criteria contained in the appendix to decision VI/2;

A Friends of the Chair Group was formed to choose a list of project proposals that qualify for funding under the Strategic Plan for 2003-2004, in accordance with the criteria set out in the appendix to decision VI/2.

Encourages Parties, according to regional groups and in consultation with regional centres as appropriate, to make every effort to place all project proposals from their region in clear order of priority, with no equal rankings, on the basis of the group 2 value criteria contained in the appendix to decision VI/2, using the evaluation prepared by the Secretariat;
5 - يشجع إلى الأطراف، وذلك حسب المجموعات الإقليمية وبالتشاور مع المراكز الإقليمية حسبما يتناسب، بأن تقوم بترتيب جميع مقترحات المشاريع من أقاليمها بوضوح حسب الأولوية دون وضع رتب متساوية، على أساس معايير القيمة للمجموعة 2 الواردة في تذييل المقرر 6/2، باستخدام التقييم الذي أعدته الأمانة؛

Requests the Secretariat [to post on the web site, at least two months before OEWG4,] a list of all project proposals that meet all group 1 relevant criteria contained in the appendix to decision VI/2. Principle IV: The Secretariat must evaluate all projects on the basis of the group 2 value criteria.
