To facilitate this work, the Secretariat has developed standard formats for reporting notifications of final regulatory actions, import decisions for chemicals listed in Annex III and report forms to assist in recording human heath or environmental incidents involving severely hazardous pesticide formulations.

During the period, one proposal for the listing of a severely hazardous pesticide formulation was received for a formulation containing paraquat, which will be reviewed by the Chemical Review Committee in March 2011.

C. Notifications of final regulatory actions to ban and severely restrict a chemical and proposals for inclusion of severely hazardous pesticide formulations

As of 1 January 2006, 24 pesticides, four severely hazardous pesticide formulations and 11 industrial chemicals were listed in Annex III and were therefore subject to the prior informed consent procedure.
