٢ - ترحب بتوقيع بعض الدول اﻷعضاء على الاتفاقية الدولية لحماية حقوق جميع العمال المهاجرين وأفراد أسرهم، أو تصديقها عليها أو انضمامها إليها؛

The level of participation in the multilateral treaty framework is ultimately dependent on the actions of States to participate in the treaty framework by signing, ratifying or acceding to treaties.

(4) For States whose instruments of ratification or accession are deposited subsequent to the entry into force of this Convention, it shall enter into force on the date of the deposit of their instruments of ratification or accession.
4- تصبح هذه الاتفاقية نافذة بالنسبة للدول التي تقوم بإيداع وثائق تصديقها عليها أو وثائق انضمامها إليها بعد بدء نفاذها، ابتداء من تاريخ إيداع تلك الدول وثائق تصديقها أو انضمامها.

33 - وينبغي ألا تقوم هيئات المعاهدات، تحت أي ظرف من الظروف، أثناء تعزيزها لأدائها واستحداث أساليب عمل جديدة، بفرض التزامات أخرى على الدول غير تلك التي تعهدت بها عند توقيعها على المعاهدات الدولية لحقوق الإنسان أو تصديقها عليها أو انضمامها إليها.
