The application of this Convention covers internal trafficking and trafficking to foreign countries, including neighbouring islands.
ويشمل تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية الاتجار الداخلي والاتجار الموجه إلى البلدان الأجنبية بما في ذلك الجزر المجاورة.

Any act which is justified under the rules of international humanitarian law, shall not be covered by the scope of application of this Convention.
لا يشمل نطاق تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية أي عمل تجيزه قواعد القانون الإنساني الدولي.

l. States Parties shall endeavour to settle disputes concerning the interpretation or application of this Convention through negotiation.
1- تسعى الدول الأطراف إلى تسوية النـزاعات المتعلقة بتفسير أو تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية عن طريق التفاوض.

Any dispute between two or more States Parties concerning the interpretation or application of the present Convention which is not settled by negotiation shall, at the request of one of them, be submitted to arbitration.
يعرض للتحكيم أي خلاف ينشأ بين دولتين أو أكثر من الدول الأطراف حول تفسير أو تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية ولا يسوى عن طريق المفاوضات وذلك بناءً على طلب واحدة من هذه الدول.

1. States Parties shall endeavour to settle disputes concerning the interpretation or application of the present Convention through negotiation.
1 - تسعى الدول الأطراف إلى تسوية المنازعات المتعلقة بتفسير أو تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية عن طريق التفاوض.

In order to foster the effective implementation of the present Convention and to encourage international cooperation in the field covered by the present Convention:
لدعم تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية على نحو فعال وتشجيع التعاون الدولي في الميدان الذي تغطيه هذه الاتفاقية:

However, the scope of application of this Convention is limited to acts committed by agents or representatives of a State.
بيد أن نطاق تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية لا يشمل إلا اﻷفعال التي يرتكبها الموظفون الرسميون أو ممثلو الحكومات.

1 - تسعى الأطراف إلى تسوية أي نزاع بينها يتعلق بتفسير أو تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية عن طريق التفاوض أو أي طرق سلمية أخرى تختارها بنفسها.

In the territory of Parties to the conflict, the application of the present Convention shall cease on the general close of military operations.
' ' يوقف تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية في أراضي أي طرف في النزاع عند انتهاء العمليات الحربية بوجه عام.

4. The Committee may also request States Parties to provide additional information on the implementation of this Convention.
4 - يجوز للجنة أن تطلب أيضاً إلى الدول الأطراف معلومات تكميلية عن تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية.

Moreover, the absence of the specific offence of torture renders difficult the monitoring of the application of the Convention.
وباﻹضافة إلى ذلك، فإن عدم النص على جريمة محددة للتعذيب يجعل من الصعب تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية.

Article 22 of the Hague Convention of 1 June 1970 on the recognition of divorces and legal separations authorizes contracting States, " from time to time, [to] declare that certain categories of persons having their nationality need not be considered their nationals for the purposes of this Convention " ;

The United Arab Emirates appreciates and respects the functions of this article, which provides: " Any dispute between two or more States Parties concerning the interpretation or application on the present Convention which is not settled by negotiation shall, at the request of one of them, be submitted to arbitration.
تقدِّر دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وتحترم مهام هذه المادة، التي تنص على أن: " يعرض للتحكيم أي خلاف بين دولتين أو أكثر من الدول الأطراف حول تفسير أو تطبيق هذه الاتفاقية لا يُسَوّى عن طريق المفاوضات، وذلك بناء على طلب واحدة من هذه الدول.
