2 - تطلب إلى لجنة الخدمة المدنية الدولية أن تنظر في اقتراحات الأمين العام، ولا سيما الاقتراح المتمثل في الأخذ بعقد موحد لموظفي الأمم المتحدة في إطار مجموعة واحدة من قواعد النظام الإداري للموظفين، وأن تقدم تقريرا عن ذلك في الجزء الثاني من دورتها الحادية والستين المستأنفة؛

Recognizes that the payment of a retention incentive is not provided for by the United Nations common system and could have implications for the common system, and therefore requests the International Civil Service Commission to advise it on the proposal of the Secretary-General contained in his report no later than the main part of its sixty-second session;
8 - تقر بأن منح حافز للاحتفاظ بالموظفين أمر غير منصـوص عليه في النظام الموحد للأمم المتحدة ويمكن أن تترتب عليه آثار بالنسبة إلى النظام الموحد، ومن ثـم تطلب إلى لجنة الخدمة المدنية الدولية أن تسدي إليها المشورة بشأن اقتراح الأمين العام الوارد في تقريره، وذلك في موعد لا يتجاوز انعقاد الجزء الرئيسي من دورتها الثانية والستين؛
