It summarizes the progress made by the Expert Group in the revision of the Framework for the Development of Environment Statistics established by the United Nations Statistics Division.

12. The two technical reports, Statistics of the Natural Environment and Human Settlements Statistics, further elaborated the Framework by presenting the statistical topics in the framework format and identifying the statistical variables required for the Development of Environment Statistics.
