Parties should promote adaptation to climate change by:
ينبغي للأطراف أن تُعزِّز التكيُّف مع تغير المناخ عن طريق ما يلي:

" 1. Stresses the seriousness of climate change, and calls upon States to work cooperatively towards achieving the ultimate objective of the United Nations Framework Convention on climate change through the urgent implementation of its provisions;
" 1 - تؤكد خطورة تغير المناخ، وتـهيـب بالدول أن تتعاون في العمل من أجل بلوغ الهدف النهائي لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ عن طريق تنفيذ أحكامها بصورة عاجلة؛
