Paragraph 7 of decision 5/COP.9 requests the Executive Secretary to report at the tenth session of the COP (COP 10) on the implementation of the decision and results achieved.

The Expert Group considered the outcome of the contact group discussions and agreed to submit a report to the Conference of the Parties of the Stockholm Convention at its third meeting, outlining its response to the request of the Conference of the Parties of the Basel Convention. The text is reproduced in annex II to the present report.
