13. The Council also invites the Independent Expert to submit his report on the situation of human rights in Haiti to the Council at its twenty-eighth session.

٥ - تطلب الى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم تقريره عن حالة التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب الى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الخمسين. على أن تقرر الجمعية العامة إن كان يلزم إعداد تقارير أخرى بشأن هذه المسألة.

In paragraph 8, the Assembly also requested the Secretary-General to review its proposals contained in the report on the status of implementation of the information and communications technology strategy for the United Nations Secretariat and to present new and/or revised proposals to the General Assembly in the context of the proposed programme budget for the biennium 2012-2013.

88. In his report on the situation of human rights in Myanmar (E/CN.4/1999/35), the Special Rapporteur, Mr. Rajsoomer Lallah, noted that prisoners were said to be denied adequate food (in amount and quality) and health care.

89. In his report on the situation of human rights in Nigeria (E/CN.4/1999/36), the Special Rapporteur, Mr. Soli Jehangir Sorabjee, dealt at some length with economic, social and cultural rights.

55. Mr. Farhadi (Afghanistan) noted that, in order to draft his report on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan (A/53/539), the Special Rapporteur had taken the trouble to travel to many places but had not been allowed to enter Afghanistan.

Mr. Hammarberg (Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Human Rights in Cambodia), introducing his report on the situation of human rights in Cambodia, (A/54/353), said that the devastation caused by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia had made it difficult to build strong democratic institutions, including an effective system of justice.

In accordance with Commission resolution 1995/56, Mr. Charfi submitted his report on the situation of human rights in Somalia to the fifty-second session of the Commission on Human Rights (E/CN.4/1996/14 and Add.1).

56. Mr. GROTH (Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights), introducing his report on the situation of human rights in Cuba (A/48/562), said that the introduction to the report spelled out the framework in which the report had been prepared and the reasons for its preparation.

37. At the 32nd meeting, on 4 April 2003, Mr. Sergio Vieira de Mello, United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, introduced his report on the situation of human rights in Colombia (E/CN.4/2003/13).
37- في الجلسة 32 المعقودة في 4 نيسان/أبريل 2003، عرض السيد سيرجيو فييرا دي ميلو، مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان، تقريره عن حالة حقوق الإنسان في كولومبيا (E/CN.4/2003/13).

Nevertheless, on 28 April 2005, the President of IEC submitted to the National Assembly his report on the status of electoral preparations and, in accordance with the Transitional Constitution, formally requested the National Assembly to approve an extension of the transition.

26. While his delegation welcomed the recommendations made by the Secretary-General in his report on the state of South-South cooperation, it also believed that the main focus should be on South-South cooperation activities led by the United Nations system and its different agencies, many of which were not included in the report.
26 - ويرحب وفده بتوصيات الأمين العام الواردة في تقريره عن حالة التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب، ويرى في الوقت نفسه أن التركيز الأساسي يجب أن يكون على أنشطة التعاون فيما بين بلدان الجنوب التي تقودها منظومة الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المختلفة، التي لم يتضمن التقرير الكثير منها.

8. 36. In its report on the status of programme performance documentation requirements (INS-COM-08-002 and INS-COM-09-001), OIOS found significant shortfalls in systematic availability of data on progress against planned achievements.
