In paragraph 15 of that resolution, the Council requested its President to continue to maintain close contact on those matters with the Chairman of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples and to report thereon to the Council.

Also, in its decision 92/42 of 26 May 1992, the Council requested the Administrator to continue to review the senior management structure of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the aim of increasing efficiency and effectiveness and report thereon to the Governing Council at its fortieth session.
