25. Following the deliberations of the CRIC Bureau at its meeting on 21 - 22 June 2010, Parties will also have an opportunity to undertake preliminary exchanges on the criteria and modalities for the mid-term evaluation of The Strategy.

1. The IWG should consider revising this indicator in the framework of the mid-term evaluation of The Strategy in order to ensure the collection of reliable data and avoid perception-based indicators.
1- ينبغي للفريق العامل بين الدورات أن ينظر في تنقيح هذا المؤشر في إطار تقييم الاستراتيجية في منتصف المدة من أجل كفالة جمع بيانات موثوقة وتفادي مؤشرات قائمة على تصورات.

Many Parties recommended further engagement in the mid-term evaluation of The Strategy as an opportunity to rectify difficulties encountered in operationalizing The Strategy and reporting on its implementation, including the relevance of indicators, the frequency of reporting and the effectiveness of the review process.
