تعني عبارة " اﻹعلان التفسيري " إعلانا انفراديا أيا كانت صيغته أو تسميته صادرا عن دولة أو منظمة دولية تهدف منه تلك الدولة أو تلك المنظمة الدولية إلى تحديد أو إيضاح المعنى أو النطاق الذي تعزوه الجهة المصدرة لﻹعلان إلى المعاهدة أو إلى بعض أحكامها.
