7- واشتركت اليونيدو مع المفوضية الأوروبية في تنظيم اجتماع جانبي بشأن " تمكين البلدان النامية من المشاركة في التجارة الدولية - تدعيم القدرة التوريدية " .

Moreover, the already close cooperation with the European Commission on " Enabling developing countries to participate in international trade " will be pursued with a view to developing further joint programmes for Commission funding.

164. The view was expressed that efforts to enable developing countries to participate in activities pertaining to technology development should be intensified in order to narrow the gap between technologically developed and developing countries.
