In its resolution 1904 (2009), the Security Council encouraged the Monitoring Team and UNODC to continue their joint activities, in cooperation with Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate and the experts of the Committee established pursuant to resolution 1540 (2004), to assist Member States in their efforts to comply with their obligations under the relevant resolutions, including by organizing regional and subregional workshops.

Cooperation between the three Committees is also greatly facilitated by coordinated activities carried out by the Monitoring Team, the Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate and the experts who support the 1540 Committee to assist Member States in their efforts to comply with their obligations under relevant resolutions, including through the organization of regional and subregional workshops.
31 - ولعل ما يسهل التعاون بين اللجان الثلاث إلى درجة كبيرة هو الأنشطة المنسقة التي يضطلع بها فريق الرصد والمديرية التنفيذية للجنة مكافحة الإرهاب والخبراء الذين يقدمون الدعم للجنة القرار 1540 والتي ترمي إلى مساعدة الدول الأعضاء فيما تبذله من جهود للوفاء بالتزاماتها في إطار القرارات ذات الصلة، وذلك من خلال وسائل عدة من بينها تنظيم حلقات عمل إقليمية ودون إقليمية.
