15.12 The substantive responsibility for this subprogramme will lie with the Macroeconomic Policy and Development Division, with support from the Centre for Alleviation of Poverty through Second Crops Development in Asia and the Pacific.

4. The Asia-Pacific regional implementation meeting was held in Jakarta on 26 and 27 November 2007 in collaboration with the ESCAP Centre for Alleviation of Poverty through Secondary Crops' Development in Asia and the Pacific (CAPSA), the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific of FAO, the Convention secretariat and the Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
4 - عُقد اجتماع التنفيذ الإقليمي لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ في جاكارتا في إندونيسيا يومي 26 و 27 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2007 بالتعاون مع مركز التخفيف من وطأة الفقر من خلال تنمية المحاصيل الثانوية في آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، والمكتب الإقليمي لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ التابع لمنظمة الأغذية والزراعة، وأمانة الاتفاقية، والمكتب الإقليمي لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ التابع لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة.

This provides for the proposed establishment of one P-5 post in each of the following areas: (i) poverty reduction, focusing on the development of secondary crops under subprogramme 1; (ii) agricultural engineering and machinery development to promote trade and investment under subprogramme 4; and (iii) transfer of technology and promotion of innovative systems under subprogramme 7.
