3. The present report is submitted to the General Assembly at its fifty-fifth session pursuant to resolutions 54/126 and 55/25 to apprise the Assembly of the work of the Ad Hoc Committee in implementing its mandate and to submit its recommendations to the Assembly for consideration and action.
