He drew attention to resolutions 2004/44 and 2005/31 of the Commission on Human Rights and Security Council resolutions 1373 (2001), 1456 (2003) and 1624 (2005), which had called for counter-terrorism measures to be in conformity with all international obligations and respect international legal norms, particularly with respect to human rights, rights of refugees and humanitarian law.
