Recalling its decisions on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories and the relevant resolutions and decisions of the Security Council, the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council,
إذ يشير إلى مقرراته بشأن حالة البيئة في اﻷراضي الفلسطينية وغيرها من اﻷراضي العربية المحتلة والقرارات والمقررات الصادرة عن مجلس اﻷمن والجمعية العامة والمجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي حول هذا الموضوع،

Recalling its decisions on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories, and the relevant resolutions and decisions of the Security Council, the General Assembly and the Economic and Social Council,

Having considered the progress report of the Executive Director on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories,2

Taking note of the report of the Executive Director on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories, UNEP/GC.18/18 and Corr.1.
وإذ يحيط علما بتقرير المديرة التنفيذية بشأن حالة البيئة في اﻷراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة)١٤(،

3. Requests the Executive Director to update the report on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories, in keeping with Governing Council decision 17/31 of 21 May 1993;
٣ - يطلب إلى المديرة التنفيذية استكمال التقرير عن حالة البيئة في اﻷراضي الفلسطينية وغيرها من اﻷراضي العربية المحتلة وفق ما جاء في مقرر مجلس اﻹدارة ١٧/٣١ المؤرخ ٢١ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٣؛

4. Notes with concern that the Executive Director was unable to update the report on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories in keeping with Governing Council decisions 17/31 of 21 May 1993 and 18/11 of 26 May 1995, and requests her to complete the updating of the said report as soon as possible;
٤ - يلاحظ بقلق أن المديرة التنفيذية لم تتمكن من استكمال التقرير عن حالة البيئة في اﻷراضي الفلسطينية وغيرها من اﻷراضي العربية المحتلة، وفق ما جاء في مقرري مجلس اﻹدارة ١٧/٣١ المؤرخ ٢١ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٣ و ١٨/١١ المؤرخ ٢٦ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٥، ويرجو منها تكملة وتحديث التقرير المذكور في أسرع وقت؛

Recalling its decisions 14/11 of 18 June 1987, 15/8 of 25 May 1989, 16/13 of 31 May 1991, 17/31 of 21 May 1993, 18/11 of 26 May 1995 and 19/8 of 7 February 1997, on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories,
إذ يشير إلى مقرراته ١٤/١١ المؤرخ ١٨ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٨٧، و ١٥/٨ المؤرخ ٢٥ أيار/ مايو ١٩٨٩، و ١٦/١٣ المؤرخ ٣١ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩١، و ١٧/٣١ المؤرخ ٢١ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٣، و ١٨/١١ المؤرخ ٢٦ أيار/ مايو ١٩٩٥، و ١٩/٨ المؤرخ ٧ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٧، بشأن حالة البيئة في اﻷراضي الفلسطينية وغيرها من اﻷراضي العربية المحتلة،

4. Requests the Executive Director to prepare a comprehensive report on the environmental situation in the occupied Palestinian and other Arab territories, including those under the control of the Palestinian Authority, in keeping with the above-mentioned decisions of the Governing Council, and also requests him to present the report to the Governing Council at its twenty-first session.
٤ - يطلب أيضا إلى المدير التنفيذي إعداد تقرير شامل حول حالة البيئة في اﻷراضي الفلسطينية وغيرها من اﻷراضي العربية المحتلة اﻷخرى بما في ذلك اﻷراضي الخاضعة للسلطة الفلسطينية، تمشيا مع مقررات مجلس اﻹدارة المذكورة أعلاه، ويطلب إليه أيضا تقديم التقرير إلى مجلس اﻹدارة في دورته الحادية والعشرين.
