٦٥١- وتقضي لائحة المجلس (EEC) رقم ٠٢٨٣/٥٨ المؤرخة ٠٢ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ٥٨٩١ بوجوب منح السائقين راحة اسبوعية لا تقل مدتها عن ٥٤ ساعة متتالية؛ وتؤخذ هذه اﻷجازة اﻷسبوعية إلى جانب فترة راحة يومية لمدة ١١ ساعة في العادة وإن كان من الممكن إنقاصها إلى تسع أو ثماني ساعات حسبما يكون الحال.
