وسلمت الاستنتاجات المتفق عليها بأن هذه الممارسات تُعد شكلا واضحا للعنف ضد المرأة والبنت وشكلا خطيرا من أشكال انتهاك حقوقهما الإنسانية.

(a) The repeal of any legislative, institutional and other measures in place that discriminate against women and girls and those that impede the realization of their human rights and fundamental freedoms;
(أ) إلغاء أي تدابير تشريعية ومؤسسية وغيرها من التدابير القائمة على التمييز ضد المرأة والفتاة، التي تعوق إعمال حقوقهما الإنسانية وحرياتهما الأساسية؛

(أ) إلغاء أي تدابير تشريعية ومؤسسية وغيرها من التدابير القائمة على التمييز ضد المرأة والفتاة، وتلك التي تعوق إعمال حقوقهما الإنسانية وحرياتهما الأساسية؛

It also reaffirmed the obligations contained in United Nations human rights instruments and asserted that such practices constituted “a definite form of violence against women and girls and a serious form of violation of their human rights”, expressing concern at “the continuing large-scale existence of such practices”.
كما أعادت تأكيد الالتزامات الواردة في صكوك الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان، وأكدت من جديد أن تلك الممارسات تعد " شكلا واضحا للعنف ضد المرأة والبنت، وشكلا خطيرا من أشكال انتهاك حقوقهما الإنسانية " ، وأعربت عن قلقها إزاء " استمرار وجود هذه الممارسات على نطاق واسع " .
