39. The Government also reported on measures adopted to implement the recommendations of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the human rights of migrants, who had visited the country from 25 February to 6 March 2002.

46. In General Assembly resolution 56/170 States expressed support for the work of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the human rights of migrants.

52. The Secretary-General expresses his support for the work of the Special Rapporteur of the Commission on Human Rights on the human rights of migrants and encourages her to continue promoting the protection of their human rights at international events.
