Taking note of the discussions held by the Human Rights Council panel on the issue of human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking at its eighteenth session,
وإذ تحيط علماً بالمناقشات التي دارت في حلقة النقاش التي عقدها مجلس حقوق الإنسان في دورته الثامنة عشرة بشأن مسألة حقوق الإنسان في سياق الإجراءات المتخذة للتصدي لأخذ الرهائن على يد الإرهابيين()،

6. On 11 March 2011, the former Special Rapporteur participated as a panellist in a discussion on the issue of human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking, pursuant to Human Rights Council decision 15/116 of 1 October 2010.

At the request of the Human Rights Council, two panel discussions were organized in March and June on, respectively, human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking and the human rights of victims of terrorism.

22. In its decision 15/116, the Human Rights Council requested OHCHR to prepare a report on the outcome of the panel discussion held during its sixteenth session on the issue of human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking in the form of a summary.

12. In March 2011, at the request of the Human Rights Council, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights organized a panel discussion on the issue of human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking (see A/HCR/18/29).

The Human Rights Council took up the issue of terrorist hostage-taking and, at its sixteenth session, convened a panel discussion on the issue of human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking, which brought together parties and stakeholders from United Nations bodies and agencies and participants from various regions and countries.
وتطرق مجلس حقوق الإنسان لمسألة أخذ الرهائن وعقد، في دورته السادسة عشرة، حلقة نقاش بشأن مسألة حقوق الإنسان في سياق الإجراءات المتخذة للتصدي لأخذ الرهائن على يد الإرهابيين جمعت أطرافاً وأصحاب مصلحة من هيئات ووكالات الأمم المتحدة ومشاركين من مناطق وبلدان شتى().

74. At its sixteenth session, the Council held a panel discussion on the issue of human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking, and at its eighteenth session it considered the report of the High Commissioner on the above-mentioned panel discussion (A/HRC/18/29).

The High Commissioner for Human Rights also opened a Human Rights Council panel discussion on the issue of human rights of victims of terrorism that took place in June 2011, while the Deputy High Commissioner delivered opening remarks for a Council panel on the issue of human rights in the context of action taken to address terrorist hostage-taking that was held in March 2011.
41 - كما قامت المفوضة السامية لحقوق الإنسان بافتتاح حلقة نقاش حول مسألة حقوق الإنسان لضحايا الارهاب قام بتنظيمها مجلس حقوق الإنسان في حزيران/يونيه 2011 ()، في حين أدلى نائب المفوضة السامية بملاحظات افتتاحية لفريق تابع للمجلس ومعني بمسألة حقوق الإنسان في سياق الإجراءات المتخذة لمعالجة أخذ الرهائن من قِبَل الإرهابيين، حيث عقد الفريق جلسته في آذار/مارس 2011 ().
