8. Notes improvements in the human rights situation in Rwanda since the fifty-third session of the General Assembly, expresses concern at those violations of human rights that are reported, and urges the Government of Rwanda to continue to investigate and prosecute such violations;
٨ - تلاحظ جوانب التحسن التي طرأت على حالة حقوق اﻹنسان في رواندا منذ الدورة الثالثة والخمسين للجمعية العامة، وتعرب عن قلقها إزاء انتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان المبلغ عنها وتحث حكومة رواندا على مواصلة التحقيق في تلك الانتهاكات ومحاكمة مرتكبيها؛

In the resolution, the Assembly encouraged the Government of Rwanda to pursue its efforts to create conditions conducive to the return of refugees and to the recovery by displaced persons of their property in peace, security and dignity.
وفي هذا القرار، شجعت الجمعية العامة حكومة رواندا على مواصلة جهودها في سبيل تهيئة الظروف التي تؤدي إلى عودة اللاجئين واستعادة المشردين لممتلكاتهم في كنف السلام واﻷمن والكرامة.

٤ - يحث بقوة حكومة رواندا على مواصلة تعاونها مع البعثة في تنفيذ ولايتها وعلى وجه الخصوص في ضمان وصول قوات البعثة وموظفي المحكمة الدولية لرواندا وموظفي شؤون حقوق اﻹنسان إلى جميع مناطق رواندا دون عائق؛

With respect to the Great Lakes subregion, Burundi encourages the Government of Rwanda to continue its policy of national reconciliation and to create the conditions of peace and security conducive to the return of Rwandan refugees to their homeland.
وفيما يتعلق بمنطقة البحيرات الكبرى دون الاقليمية، تشجع بوروندي حكومة رواندا على مواصلة اتباع سياستها للمصالحة الوطنية وعلى إيجاد الظروف الضرورية للسلم واﻷمن بما يؤدي الى عودة اللاجئين الروانديين الى وطنهم.

In this regard it acknowledges the achievements of the Government of Rwanda, despite the difficulty of the task and the lack of resources. It encourages the Government of Rwanda to continue to provide a framework for the action to be taken to repatriate the refugees, to promote national reconciliation, and to reinvigorate the political process and calls upon the international community to continue to support the Government of Rwanda in its task.
وفي هذا الخصوص فإنه يعترف بإنجازات حكومة رواندا، على الرغم من صعوبة المهمة ونقص الموارد، ويشجع حكومة رواندا على مواصلة وضع إطار لﻹجراءات التي ستتخذ ﻹعادة اللاجئين الى وطنهم، ولتشجيع المصالحة الوطنية، ولتنشيط العملية السياسية، ويطلب الى المجتمع الدولي مواصلة دعم حكومة رواندا في هذه المهمة.

9. Encourages the Government of Rwanda to continue to investigate and prosecute violations of human rights and humanitarian law committed by individual members of the security forces in the course of military operations against insurgent groups, including through strengthening military justice, with assistance from donor States;
٩- تشجع حكومة رواندا على مواصلة تحري ومقاضاة انتهاكات حقوق اﻹنسان والقانون اﻹنساني التي اقترفها اﻷفراد التابعون لقوات اﻷمن أثناء العمليات العسكرية التي شنت ضد مجموعات المتمردين، وذلك يشمل تعزيز مكتب المدعي العسكري بمساعدة من الدول المانحة؛

11. Welcomes the draft Law on Matrimonial Property and Succession now under consideration in Rwanda and encourages the Government of Rwanda to continue its efforts to improve the welfare, status and role of women, especially genocide survivors and returnees, in Rwandan society, with particular attention to matters concerning property;
١١- ترحب بمشروع القانون المتعلق بملكية ووراثة الزوجات الجاري النظر فيه حالياً في رواندا وتشجع حكومة رواندا على مواصلة جهودها لتحسين رفاه ومركز ودور المرأة ولا سيما الناجيات من اﻹبادة الجماعية والعائدات إلى المجتمع الرواندي، مع إيلاء الاهتمام الخاص للمسائل المتعلقة بالملكية؛

6. Calls upon the international community to continue its assistance with a view to alleviating the intolerable conditions in Rwandan prisons and to expediting the processing of cases, and encourages the Government of Rwanda to continue its efforts to improve the situation in the prisons and to expedite the processing of cases;
٦ - تطلب إلى المجتمع الدولي أن يواصل تقديم مساعدته من أجل تخفيف حدة اﻷحوال التي لا تطاق في السجون الرواندية والتعجيل بمعالجة القضايا، وتشجع حكومة رواندا على مواصلة جهودها الرامية إلى تحسين الحالة في السجون والتعجيل بمعالجة القضايا؛

2. The Assembly called upon the international community to continue its assistance, with a view to alleviating the intolerable conditions in Rwandan prisons and to expediting the processing of cases, and encouraged the Government of Rwanda to continue its efforts to improve the judicial system, including by expediting the trial process, and to continue to improve the situation in the prisons.
٢ - وطلبت الجمعية العامة إلى المجتمع الدولي أن يواصل تقديم مساعدته، من أجل تخفيف حدة اﻷحوال التي لا تطاق في السجون الرواندية والتعجيل بمعالجة القضايا، وشجعت حكومة رواندا على مواصلة جهودها الرامية إلى تحسين النظام القضائي، بما في ذلك التعجيل بإجراءات المحاكمة، ومواصلة تحسين الحالة في السجون.

Furthermore, the draft resolution encourages the Government of Rwanda to pursue its efforts with a view to creating conditions conductive to the voluntary return of refugees to their homeland.
