2. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to adopt further quick and effective measures in order to comply with the recommendations made previously by the Commission and the Special Representative, such as the following:

7. Also encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to ensure the participation of all citizens in the country's political, social and cultural life;
٧- تشجع أيضاً حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على كفالة مشاركة جميع المواطنين في حياة البلد السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية؛

From 1980 until 1992, Mr. Volio's mandate as Independent Expert was renewed each year by the Commission with a view to assisting the Government of Equatorial Guinea in taking the action necessary for the full restoration of human rights and fundamental freedoms, keeping in mind the recommendations he had made as Special Rapporteur.

12. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to continue taking the measures necessary to improve the situation of women in that country;
٢١- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على الاستمرار في اتخاذ التدابير الضرورية لتحسين أوضاع المرأة في ذلك البلد؛

14. Urges the Government of Equatorial Guinea to draw up and implement the National Plan for the United Nations Decade for Human Rights Education, 1995-2004;
٤١- تحث حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على أن تضع وتنفذ الخطة الوطنية المتعلقة بعقد اﻷمم المتحدة لتعليم حقوق اﻹنسان، ٥٩٩١-٤٠٠٢؛

2. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to adopt quick and effective measures in order to comply with the recommendations made by the Commission and the Special Representative, as detailed in his report, such as the following measures:
2- تشجّع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على اتخاذ تدابير سريعة وفعالة قصد الامتثال للتوصيات التي تقدّمت بها اللجنة والممثل الخاص والمفصّلة في تقريره، من قبيل التدابير الرامية إلى ما يلي:

10. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to invite to the country an electoral observer mission of the United Nations, and/or of impartial observers for the next municipal elections;
10- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على دعوة بعثة لمراقبة الانتخابات تابعة للأمم المتحدة، و/أو مراقبين نزهاء لزيارة البلد وحضور الانتخابات البلدية المقبلة؛

5. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to pursue the efforts which it has already undertaken to integrate women effectively into the process of the socio—economic, cultural and political development of the country;
٥- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على مواصلة الجهود التي بدأتها بالفعل ﻹدماج المرأة على نحو فعال في عملية التنمية الاجتماعية - الاقتصادية والثقافية والسياسية للبلد؛

6. Also encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to promote the necessary conditions so that everyone enjoys full economic, social and cultural rights;
٦- تشجع أيضا حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على تعزيز اﻷوضاع اللازمة لتمتع كل فرد بالحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية بالكامل؛

2. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to continue its efforts to adopt effective measures to protect and strengthen the human rights situation in the country;
2- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على مواصلة جهودها من أجل اعتماد تدابير فعالة لحماية وتدعيم حالة حقوق الإنسان في هذا البلد؛

7. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to continue the dialogue with all elements of the political opposition, with a view to reaching a consensus on the democratization of Equatorial Guinea;
٧- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على مواصلة الحوار مع جميع القوى السياسية المعارضة، بهدف التوصل إلى توافق في الرأي بشأن دمقرطة البلد؛

9. Urges the Government of Equatorial Guinea to invite regional and international human rights bodies to make periodic visits to prisons and civil and military detention centres, without any exceptions;
٩- تحث حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على دعوة جميع الهيئات اﻹقليمية والدولية لحقوق اﻹنسان على القيام بزيارات دورية للسجون ومراكز الاعتقال المدنية والسياسية، دون استثناء؛

5. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to continue the dialogue with all the political forces with a view to ensuring progress in the democratization of the country;
٥- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على الاستمرار في التحاور مع جميع القوى السياسية بغية إحراز تقدم في إقامة الديمقراطية في البلد؛

9. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to accede to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment and the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination;
٩- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على الانضمام الى، اتفاقية مناهضة التعذيب وغيره من ضروب المعاملة أو العقوبة القاسية أو اللاإنسانية أو المهينة، والاتفاقية الدولية للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري؛

13. Also encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to continue its efforts to improve the functioning of the administration of justice and to guarantee the independence and impartiality of judges and magistrates;
٣١- تشجع أيضا حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على الاستمرار في جهودها لتحسين عمل الجهاز القضائي ولضمان استقلال ونزاهة القضاة والموظفين القضائيين؛

4. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to continue the dialogue with all the political forces with a view to achieving consensus on the democratization of the country;
٤- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على الاستمرار في الحوار مع جميع القوى السياسية بغية التوصل إلى توافق في الرأي بشأن إقامة الديمقراطية في البلد؛

8. Encourages the Government of Equatorial Guinea to extend and amplify the improvement in human rights, along the lines laid down in Commission on Human Rights resolution 1994/89;
٨- تشجع حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على ان تتوسع وتتعمق في تحسين حقوق الانسان، وفقا للخطوط التي رسمها قرار لجنة حقوق اﻹنسان ٤٩٩١/٩٨؛

4. Calls upon the specialized bodies and agencies of the United Nations, as well as donor countries and any other international institutions present in the country, to assist the Government of Equatorial Guinea in strengthening the national institutions on human rights;
4- تطلب إلى هيئات الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة، وكذلك إلى البلدان المانحة وأية مؤسسات دولية أخرى موجودة في البلد، أن تساعد حكومة غينيا الاستوائية على تعزيز المؤسسات الوطنية المعنية بحقوق الإنسان؛
