21. Encourages the Government of Cambodia to include Cambodian human rights non—governmental organizations in the rehabilitation and reconstruction of Cambodia;
١٢- تشجع حكومة كمبوديا على إشراك منظمات حقوق اﻹنسان الكمبودية غير الحكومية في إعادة تأهيل كمبوديا وتعميرها؛

8. Encourages further efforts by the Government of Cambodia to implement expeditiously and effectively its reform programme, including the Governance Action Plan and police and military reforms, inter alia the demobilization programme;

٧١ - تشجع كذلك حكومة كمبوديا على مواصلة الحوار البناء مع مركز حقوق اﻹنسان والتشاور معه بشأن أنشطته في كمبوديا؛

Therefore, the Committee encourages the Government of Cambodia to consider ratifying the treaty to which it is not yet a party, that is, the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.

14. Reaffirms the importance of the upcoming communal elections being conducted in a free and fair manner, and urges the Government of Cambodia to prepare for them accordingly;
14- تؤكد مرة أخرى أهمية إجراء الانتخابات المحلية المقبلة بطريقة حرة ونزيهة، وتحث حكومة كمبوديا على التحضير لها وفقاً لذلك؛

Welcoming also the agreement by the Government of Cambodia to extend the mandate of the office in Phnom Penh of the High Commissioner until March 2000, enabling the office to continue its operations and to maintain its technical cooperation programmes,

8. Encourages the Government of Cambodia to continue to work with non-governmental organizations in efforts to strengthen and uphold human rights in Cambodia, in recognition of the vital and valuable role played by non-governmental organizations in the development of civil society in Cambodia;
٨ - تشجع حكومة كمبوديا على مواصلة العمل مع المنظمات غير الحكومية في الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز حقوق اﻹنسان والترويج لها في كمبوديا، وذلك اعترافا بالدور الحيوي القيم الذي أدته المنظمات غير الحكومية في بناء المجتمع المدني في كمبوديا؛

3. In its resolution, the Assembly also requested the SecretaryGeneral, through his Special Representative for human rights in Cambodia, to assist the Government of Cambodia in ensuring the protection of the human rights of all people in Cambodia.
3- وطلبت الجمعية العامة في قرارها هذا أيضاً إلى الأمين العام أن يقوم، عن طريق ممثله الخاص المعني بحقوق الإنسان في كمبوديا، بمساعدة حكومة كمبوديا على ضمان حماية حقوق الإنسان لجميع السكان في كمبوديا.
