The technical workshop on increasing economic resilience to climate change and reducing reliance on vulnerable economic sectors, including through economic diversification, was held in Cairo, Egypt, from 28 to 30 April 2009. It was organized by the secretariat in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment of Egypt.

8- عُقدت حلقة العمل التقنية المتعلقة بإدماج الممارسات والأدوات والنظم المستخدمة في تقييم وإدارة الأخطار المناخية واستراتيجيات الحد من مخاطر الكوارث في السياسات والبرامج الوطنية في هافانا، كوبا، من 10 إلى 12 آذار/مارس 2009.

54. The Special Representative has established a firm institutional collaboration with the South Asian Initiative to End Violence against Children, having participated in the first meeting of its Governing Board as well as in the technical workshop on law reform, both held in Kathmandu in November 2010.
54- حققت الممثِّلة الخاصة تعاونا مؤسسياً وثيقاً مع مبادرة جنوب آسيا لإنهاء العنف ضد الأطفال، بمشاركتها في أول اجتماع لمجلس إدارتها، وكذلك في حلقة العمل التقنية المتعلقة بإصلاح القانون، اللذين عُقدا قي تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2010 في كاتماندو.

As discussed during the technical workshop on asset recovery (see para. 5), civil proceedings instituted by the Philippines and the Russian Federation have allowed those countries to recover nearly $1 billion and $180 million, respectively.

يُقدِّم هذا التقرير موجزاً عن حلقة العمل التقنية المتعلقة بنُهج التكيُّف مع تغيُّر المناخ القائمة على النظم الإيكولوجية، التي نُظِّمت في إطار برنامج عمل نيروبي المتعلِّق بتأثيرات تغير المناخ والقابلية للتأثُّر به والتكيف معه، والتي عُقِدَت في دار السلام، جمهورية تنزانيا المتحدة، في الفترة من 21 إلى 23 آذار/مارس 2013.

Views and information on ongoing efforts to integrate adaptation and risk management into development planning were submitted to the secretariat by Parties and relevant organizations and discussed at the technical workshop on integrating practices, tools and systems for climate risk assessment and management and disaster risk reduction strategies into national policies and programmes, which took place in Havana, Cuba, on 10 - 12 March 2009.
