9. If a member of the Committee dies or resigns or declares that for any other cause she or he can no longer perform her or his duties, the State Party which nominated the member shall appoint another expert possessing the qualifications and meeting the requirements set out in the relevant provisions of this article, to serve for the remainder of the term.
9 - في حالة وفاة أو استقالة أحد أعضاء اللجنة أو إعلان ذلك العضو، لأي سبب آخر، عدم قدرته على أداء واجباته، تعين الدولة الطرف التي رشحت ذلك العضو خبيرا آخر يملك المؤهلات ويستوفي الشروط الواردة في الأحكام ذات الصلة من هذه المادة، ليعمل كعضو في اللجنة خلال ما تبقى من فترة ذلك العضو.

2.4 On 24 October 1986, the examining magistrate appointed another expert who, in his report dated 12 February 1987, confirmed that the inspection had indeed taken place within French territorial waters. On 30 April 1987, the examining magistrate issued an order referring the case to the Tribunal (Tribunal de Grande Instance) of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
٢-٤ وفي ٢٤ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٨٦، عيﱠن قاضي التحقيق خبيرا آخر أكد في تقريره المؤرخ ١٢ شباط/فبراير ١٩٨٧ أن التفتيش حدث فعليا في المياه اﻹقليمية الفرنسية، وفي ٣٠ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٨٧، أصـــدر قاضـــي التحقيق أمرا يحيل فيه القضية إلى محكمة بولوني - سير - مير وهي محكمة كلية (Tribunal de Grande Instance).

7. If a member of the subsidiary body dies or resigns or declares that, for any other cause, he or she can no longer perform the duties of the subsidiary body, the State Party which nominated the member shall appoint another expert from among its nationals to serve for the remainder of the term, subject to the approval of the subsidiary body.
7- إذا توفي أحد أعضاء الهيئة الفرعية أو استقال أو أعلن لأي سبب آخر أنه غير قادر على تأدية مهام منصبه في الهيئة الفرعية، عيّنت الدولة الطرف التي قامت بترشيح العضو خبيرا آخر من بين رعاياها ليكمل المدة المتبقية من الولاية، رهنا بموافقة الهيئة الفرعية.()

After one of the experts appointed by the Secretary-General informed the Secretariat that she could not assume her functions owing to personal reasons, the Secretary-General, in consultation with the Committee, appointed another expert in her stead and informed the Council accordingly in a letter dated 27 October 2009 (S/2009/555).
وبعد أن أبلغت خبيرة منهم عينها الأمين العام الأمانة العامة بأنه يتعذر عليها تولي مهامها لأسباب شخصية، عين الأمين العام، بالتشاور مع اللجنة، خبيرا آخر محلها وأبلغ المجلس بذلك في رسالة مؤرخة 27 تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2009 (S/2009/555).

(c) If a member dies or resigns or declares that for any other cause she or he can no longer perform her or his duties, the State party who nominated the member shall appoint another expert possessing the qualifications and meeting the requirements set out in the relevant provisions of this article, to serve for the remainder of the term, subject to the approval of the Committee.
