Furthermore, capacity-building for women’s organizations, especially grassroots and community-based organizations, will form a central part of the gender equality action plan in order to empower and equip women with skills that will allow them to interface constructively with cities and local authorities and key actors at the national and local levels to solve community problems and to serve on various community development committees.
