As mentioned above, pursuant to General Assembly resolution 58/269, the proposed strategic framework for the period 2006-2007, comprising part one: plan outline, reflecting the longer-term objectives of the Organization, and part two: biennial programme plan, was submitted to the Assembly at its fifty-ninth session, through the Committee for Programme and Coordination at its forty-fourth session, in 2004.
