Examples include the work on adaptation, including the launch of the Nairobi work programme on impacts, vulnerability and adaptation to climate change, and the project on investment flows and finance schemes relevant to the development of an effective and appropriate international response to climate change, with particular reference to the needs of developing countries, where several programmes collaborated closely to ensure success.
