12. ٦٢- ينبغي تقديم معلومات عن الخطوات المتخذة لضمان منع ومكافحة التمييز، في القانون والممارسة معاً، بما في ذلك التمييز على أساس عنصر الطفل أو والديه أو اﻷوصياء القانونيين عليه أو لونهم أو جنسهم أو لغتهم أو دينهم أو رأيهم السياسي أو غيره أو أصلهم القومي أو العرقي أو الاجتماعي، أو ثروتهم أو عجزهم أو مولدهم أو أي وضع آخر.

14. Article 2 of the Convention stipulates that the rights set forth in the Convention must be respected and ensured to each child without discrimination of any kind, irrespective of the child's or his or her parent's or legal guardian's race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national, ethnic or social origin, property, disability, birth or other status.
