7. The Committee remains seriously concerned by the State party's response to the allegations of torture in individual cases brought to the attention of the Committee, and particularly by the State party's authorities' refusal to carry out full investigations into many allegations of torture on the grounds that preliminary enquiries revealed no basis for opening a full investigation.
7- ولا يزال يساور اللجنة بالغ القلق إزاء ردود الدولة الطرف على ادعاءات التعذيب في حالات فردية علمت بها اللجنة، والمتمثلة بالخصوص في رفض سلطات الدولة الطرف القيام بتحقيقات كاملة في العديد من ادعاءات التعذيب على أساس أن التحقيقات الأولية كشفت عدم وجود أساس لإجراء تحقيق كامل.

6.3 As to the issues of the standard of medical care provided to the author, the Committee, taking into account the responses of the State party to the points advanced by the author, considers that the author has failed to substantiate, for the purposes of admissibility, the contention that the nature of medical treatment provided to him raises an issue under the Covenant.
