In resolution 64/146, the Assembly requested the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict to submit a report to the General Assembly containing information on her field visits, on the progress achieved and the challenges remaining on the children and armed conflict agenda.

1. The present report is submitted pursuant to General Assembly resolution 66/141 on the rights of the child, in which the Assembly requested the Special Representative to submit a report on the activities undertaken in the fulfilment of her mandate, including information on her field visits and on the progress achieved and the challenges remaining on the children and armed conflict agenda.
1 - يُقدم هذا التقرير عملا بقرار الجمعية العامة 66/141 بشأن حقوق الطفل، الذي طلبت فيه الجمعية إلى الممثلة الخاصة للأمين العام المعنية بالأطفال والنـزاع المسلح أن تقدم تقريرا عن الأنشطة المضطلع بها في إطار أداء ولايتها يشمل معلومات عن زياراتها الميدانية وعن التقدم المحرز والتحديات التي ما زالت قائمة في خطة العمل المتعلقة بالأطفال والنزاع المسلح.

We fully understand and share the concerns which continue to exist in some countries, owing to the fact that the human rights of some of their citizens have been infringed as a result of their direct or indirect participation in the Salvadorian armed conflict, with the risks which that entailed.
واننا ندرك ونتشاطر تماما مشاعر القلق التي ما زالت قائمة في بعض البلدان والنابعة من المساس بحقوق الانسان لبعض مواطنيها نتيجة لمشاركتهم بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر في الصراع المسلح السلفادوري مع ما ينطوي على ذلك من مخاطر.

73. The Committee is concerned by the social constraints that exist within Algerian society which keep women in a lower status than men and are not conducive to the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women.

8. The purpose of the study would be to provide a detailed and updated account of the status of efforts to secure indigenous land rights and of the problems that continue to exist in this regard, and to shed light on potential solutions to such problems.
٨- الغرض من الدراسة هو تقديم عرض مفصل ومستوفي لحالة الجهود الرامية إلى ضمان حقوق الشعوب اﻷصلية فيما يتعلق باﻷراضي والمشاكل التي ما زالت قائمة في هذا الصدد، وإلقاء الضوء على الحلول الممكنة لمثل هذه المشاكل.

(25) The Committee is concerned that women do not participate enough in political life, the judiciary and other sectors and that the information provided by the State party is not detailed enough to enable the Committee to evaluate either the progress made or the problems that continue to exist in this regard.
