3. This Act criminalizes piratic offences such as endangering or creating a serious likelihood of endangering the safe navigation of a ship.

(e) communicates information which he and she knows to be false, thereby endangering the safe navigation of a vessel.

The perpetration of an act of violence against a person on board a ship or fixed platform if that act is likely to endanger the safe navigation of such ship or the safety of such platform and the destruction of a ship or fixed platform or causing damage to ships or platforms shall be punishable under criminal law, as shall be:
ومن الآن فصاعدا، غدت تخضع لأحكام القانون الجنائي أعمال العنف المرتكبة ضد شخص يوجد على متن سفينة أو منصة ثابتة، إذا كان من شأن تلك الأعمال أن تعرض للخطر سلامة ملاحة السفينة أو المنصبة الثابتة، أو القيام بتدمير سفينة أو منصة ثابتة أو إلحاق أضرار بتلك المنشآت.

(b) performing an act of violence against a person on board a ship or fixed platform if that act is likely to endanger the safe navigation of the ship or the safety of the fixed platform;
(ب) ارتكاب عمل من أعمال العنف ضد شخص على متن سفينة أو منصة ثابتة إذا كان من شأن هذا العمل أن يشكل خطرا على سلامة ملاحة السفينة أو على سلامة المنصة الثابتة؛

(g) endangering the safe navigation of a ship by communicating information which the person knows to be false;
(ز) تعريض سلامة ملاحة السفينة للخطر عن طريق القيام، عن علم، بإبلاغ معلومات خاطئة؛

(b) the making of that threat is likely to endanger the safe navigation of the ship.
(ب) يكون من المحتمل أن يعرض هذا التهديد سلامة ملاحة أي سفينة للخطر.

(d) destroys or seriously damages maritime navigational facilities or seriously interferes with their operation, if any such act is likely to endanger the safe navigation of a vessel;
(د) يدمر أو يصيب بأضرار خطيرة أو كبيرة منشآت وخدمات الملاحة البحرية أو يعرقل عملها بصورة خطيرة إذا كان يمكن لأي من هذه الأفعال أن يعرض سلامة ملاحة السفينة للخطر؛

(f) destroying or seriously damaging maritime navigational facilities or seriously interfering with their operation, if the destruction, damage or interference is likely to endanger the safe navigation of a ship;
(و) تدمير مرافق ملاحية بحرية أو إلحاق أضرار بالغة بها أو عرقلة عملها بشدة، إذا كان من شأن هذا التدمير أو الإضرار أو هذه العرقلة تشكيل خطر على سلامة ملاحة السفينة؛

(i) with the aim of compelling a person to do or not to do any act, threatening to endanger the safe navigation of a ship by doing any of the acts mentioned elsewhere in this subsection;
(ط) القيام، بقصد إجبار شخص على القيام أو عدم القيام بأي فعل، بالتهديد بتعريض سلامة ملاحة السفينة للخطر عن طريق ارتكاب أي فعل من الأفعال المذكورة في سائر أجزاء هذا البند؛

(3) (a) Subject to subsection (7), any person who intentionally communicates information which he knows to be false in a material particular, where the communication of the information endangers the safe navigation of a ship, shall commit an offence.
(3) (أ) رهناً بالبند (7)، يرتكب جريمة كل من يتعمد إيصال معلومات يعرف أنها كاذبة في أحد تفاصيلها الهامة، بحيث يؤدي إيصالُ هذه المعلومات إلى تعريض سلامة ملاحة السفينة للخطر.

(4) A person who, in order to compel any other person to do or abstain from doing any act, threatens that he or some other person will do, in relation to a ship, an act which is an offence by virtue of section 4(2)(a), (b) or (c), where the making of that threat is likely to endanger the safe navigation of the ship, shall commit an offence.
(4) يرتكب جريمة كل من يقوم، بغرض إجبار أي شخص آخر على القيام بعمل ما أو الامتناع عنه، بالتهديد بأنه سيرتكب، هو أو غيره، فيما يتصل بإحدى السفن، فعلا يُشكل جريمة بموجب المادة 4 (2) (أ) أو (ب) أو (ج)، ويكون من المحتمل أن يعرض هذا التهديد سلامة ملاحة السفينة للخطر.

(5) Subject to subsection (7), a person who, in order to compel any other person to do or abstain from doing any act, threatens that he or some other person will do an act which is an offence by virtue of subsection (1), where the making of that threat is likely to endanger the safe navigation of a ship, shall commit an offence.
(5) رهناً بالبند (7)، يرتكب جريمة كل من يقوم، بغرض إجبار أي شخص آخر على القيام بعمل ما أو الامتناع عنه، بالتهديد بأنه سيرتكب، هو أو غيره، فعلا يُشكل جريمة بموجب البند (1)، ويكون من المحتمل أن يعرض هذا التهديد سلامة ملاحة السفينة للخطر.
